INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT & INFRASTRUCTURE ASIA 2010
ASIA-PACIFIC MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE ON PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS FOR INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT & INFRASTRUCTURE ASIA 2010
IPFA TO JOIN INFRASTRUCTURE ASIA 2010 CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION AS SUPPORTING INDUSTRY PARTNER
COALspot.com (Press Release): International Project Finance Association (IPFA) will be participating as a supporting industry partner in the upcoming Infrastructure Asia 2010 Conference and Exhibition in conjunction with the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Public & Private Partnerships for Infrastructure Development (APMC PPP 2010) taking place in Jakarta, Indonesia on April 14th to 17th, 2010. This partnership has come to fruition as a joint effort to promote the shared interest in private companies and public sector organizations involvement in infrastructure based project finance and PPPs throughout Asia Pacific.
| “The support of IPFA has enabled us to reach out to the finance sector that drives infrastructure projects forward" - Managing Director, Infrastructure Asia. |
The primary initiative of Infrastructure Asia is to create an atmosphere enabling governments, businesses and leading experts to meet, discuss and find solutions for the prioritization, procurement and presentation of existing and future infrastructure projects in Asia Pacific. This unparalleled platform has become a natural stage for IPFA to promote its agenda to stimulate communication between businesses, governments and financial institutions as well as provide up to date information on industry trends and developments.
“The support of IPFA has enabled us to reach out to the finance sector that drives infrastructure projects forward” says Stanislava Blagoeva, Managing Director of Infrastructure Asia. “At Asia’s premier infrastructure forum, associated with UNESCAP, Asian Development Bank and the Indonesian Government, Infrastructure Asia and IPFA can work together to connect the key players that drive the infrastructure industry.”
IPFA has emerged as the largest and only international, independent, not-for-profit Association dedicated to promoting and representing the interests of private sector companies and public sector organizations involved in project finance and PPPs throughout the world. IPFA has joined up with Infrastructure Asia in a continuing effort to raise global awareness and understanding of financial opportunities for PPPs in the infrastructure industry and the crucial role they play in fostering sustainable economic developments for the Asian Pacific region.
James Harris, IPFA’s Asia Chairman, believes that “IPFA’s partnership with Infrastructure Asia provides the Association with an unmatched level of exposure to viable project owners and government programs in Asia Pacific. The conference and exhibition will supply IPFA members with access to first hand information on new projects and exciting developments in the region.”
