ASIA-PACIFIC MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE ON PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS FOR INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT
“Building Asia’s Infrastructure”
COALspot.com (Indonesia) Press Release: Infrastructure Asia 2010 is Asia’s premier infrastructure event organised in conjunction with the Asia Pacific Ministerial Conference on Public and Private Partnerships for Infrastructure Development between 14 and 17 of April 2010 in JIExpo, Jakarta, Indonesia.
For the first time during the 4 days, Ministers representing 53 countries will join the debate for the future of sustainable infrastructure development in the region. The Leadership Forum scheduled for the 15 and 16 of April creates an unsurpassed opportunity for governments, industry and financial institutions to meet and discuss real time infrastructure projects and purchase the latest supporting equipment and technologies.
The State Ministry of National Development Planning of The Republic of Indonesia – the official host to the events, has issued government to government invitations to join and speak at the event to over 20 ministers from countries such as Australia, Canada, China, Germany, India, France, Russia, Turkey, UK and USA. Among the invited senior officials in the Leadership Forum are HRH The Duke of York – The UK Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, Lord Davies of Abersoch CBE – UK Minister of State for Trade, Investment and Business, Garry Locke – US Secretary of Commerce, Mr. Sergei Schmatko – Minister of Fuel and Energy of the Russian Federation, Shri Kamal Nath – Minister for Road Transport and Highways of India, Mr. Jiang Weixin – Minister of Housing and Urban Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China.
The private sector invites are addressed to people whose names have become synonymous with global industries and whose achievements in creating and developing infrastructure projects across the world markets have secured their position amongst the leaders of 21st century. The long list of names includes – Lakshmi Mittal, Chairman and CEO of Arcelor Mittal, Aleksey Miller – Chairman of the Management
