Friday, 09 July 21 KOREA SOUTH-EAST POWER CO., LTD. INVITES BIDS FOR 1.86 MILLION TONS OF COAL OF 5600 & 4000 NCV COAL FOR THREE YEARS
COALspot.com: South Korea’s KOREA SOUTH-EAST POWER CO., LTD. (KOEN) has issued an international tender for 280,000 – 300,000 MT of Min.5,600 (TS: Max 0.6%) NCV coal and 320,000 MT of Min.4,000-Max.5,490 (TS: Max 0.45%) NCV coal for September-October, 2021 delivery for the 1st contract year.
The successful bidders except Russian origin shall be increased contract volume from CY2 to CY3 up to 150% the quantity offered for CY1. (Russian origin shall be increased up to 130%).
According to the bid notice no. KOEN-Coal-2021-LT10-11 terms and conditions, the bidders are required offer 280-300kt ±10% Min.5,600 NCV (TS: Max 0.6%) coal and 320kt ±10% Min.4,000-Max.5,490 NCV (TS: Max 0.45%) coal for CY1 : September - October, 2021 and delivery on one single fixed price on FOBT for CY1 (Only Cape).
