COALspot.com: Korea Southern Power Co., Ltd. (KOSPO) has issued an International tender for total 480,000 MT of NCV 1 Min. 5,600 (Spec 1) /Min. 5,000 ( Spec 2) / Min. 5,000 (Spec 3) / Min. 4,500 (Spec 4)/ Min. 3,700 (Spec 5)/ Min. 2,900 kcal/kg (Spec 6) coal for 1st year (September - November 2021), 2nd year ( December 2021 - November 2022) and 3rd year ( November 2022- December 2023) loading.
According to the Bid Notice No. KOSPO-Coal-2021-ELT07 terms and conditions, the bidders are required offer 6 Panamax (480,000 MT) or 3 capes ( 435,000 MT) shipment of coal for for a period o three (3) years until December 2023.

Shipment Size
145,000 MT (Cape) or 160,000 MT ( 2 Panamaxes)
Bidders are requested to offer at least 145,000 MT ( 133,000 MT for shipment from Newcastle) or 80,000 MT per Month on FOBT basis.
(If Coal to be offered is loaded at the port which does not receive Panamax size, bidders are allowed to offer Handymax or Supramax with CFR Price. The final purchasing unit quantity can be changed as per buyer's request.
In case of Indonesian coal, each shipment of coal to be purchased by KOSPO and delivered by the Bidder shall be entirely supplied from a coal mine company with the latest annual production record of min. 3 million tons of the coal with the quality of coal offered.
