DELTA DUNIA MAKMUR REGISTERED A NET PROFIT OF US$20 MILLION FOR FY 2019
 PT Delta Dunia Makmur, one of the largest coal mining company in Indonesia, has recorded an US$882 million revenue for FY 2019, 1% lower compared to FY 2018 due to lower volume and lower mining rates as coal market was weak and uncertain during 2019, the company said in its latest press release.
According to company’s latest press release, the company has removed 79 million bcm of overburden in 4Q 2019, 27% lower from 108.5 million bcm in 4Q 2018.
The company also mined 12.2 million tonnes of coal in 4Q 2019, higher by 2% compared to 12 million tonnes in 4Q 2018. The company also registered a net profit of US$20 million for FY 2019, 73% lower compared to US$76 million in FY 2018. According to press release, in addition, given lower volume in 2019, asset utilization rate was not optimal, and therefore, cash costs were hampered.
The company has spent a US$73 million as capital expenditure for FY 2019, lower by 76% compared to the same period last year. For FY 2019, free cash flows were $81 million and operating cash flows remained relatively healthy at US$152 million.
