South Korea state-owned utility KOREA SOUTH-EAST POWER CO., LTD. (KOEN) issued a tender for total 450,000 MT of min. 4300, 3500 and 5600 NCV coal of any origin except 5600 NCV coal only from South Africa or Colombia origin to be burnt at Samcheonpo, Yeonghung, Yeosoo Thermal Power Plants.
According to the tender No. ITB no.(Bid Notice no) KOEN-Coal-2019-SP01~03 terms, coal suppliers are required offer 225,000MT +/-10% of min.4,300 ~ max. 5,000 kcal/kg NCV coal with TS : 0.6% max, 75,000MT +/-10% of min.3,500 kcal/kg NCV coal with TS : 0.6% max and 150,000MT +/-10% of min.5,600kcal/kg of NCV coal with TS 0.8% max.
