KOMIPO TO BUY 130K TONS OF MIN. 5700 NAR COAL FOR FEB 2018 LOADING
 COALspot.com: South Korea state-owned utility Korea Midland Power (KOMIPO) issued a tender for 130k Metric Tons of min. 5700 NAR coal to be burnt at Boryeong power plant.
According to the tender, 130,00 Metric Tons (MT) of minimum 5700 kcal/kg NAR coal to be purchased basis one Single Fixed Price Based on FOBT. The Cargo loading should be completed in February 2018.
Shipment Size
Shipment size shall vary from 130,000mt to 180,000mt depending on KOMIPO’s in-house fleet vessel availability. Seller shall have no right to refuse loading of the cargo due to KOMIPO’s vessel size. For the avoidance of doubt, KOMIPO reserves the right to dispatch its in-house vessel fleet without any consultation with Seller. Either plus or minus 10% shipping tolerance shall be allowed for each shipment.
Origin
All coals to be purchased from this tender shall be South African coal.
Payment Terms
Only T/T payment (Telegraphic Transfer through cash against identified documents) shall be allowed in this bid. Bidders who require mandatory L/C (Letter of Credit) payment method shall be disqualified. For the avoidance of doubt, KOMIPO shall not evaluate the proposal which obligates KOMIPO to accept L/C payment.

Net Calorific Value minimum 5700 Kcal/Kg
