DUNIA MAKMUR SUBSIDIARY BAGS MINING SERVICE CONTRACT WORTH $ 282.63 MILLION
 PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA), has signed a life of mine contract with PT Tadjahan Antang Mineral (TAM) with a contract value of approximately IDR 3.8 trillion (approximately US$ 282,636,400). PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama is primary operating subsidiary of PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk.
According to a press release, this contract is an extension of a previous contract which was signed in August 2015 and the mining services contract has a total production target of approximately 147 million bcm of overburden and 28 million tons of coal.
PT Tadjahan Antang Mineral (TAM) is an Indonesian coal mining company located in Central Kalimantan.
According to the company's website, TAM holds a 10,372ha IUP concession at Kuala Kurun district, Gunung Mas and the mine has a large deposit of high quality bituminous coal. The mine has several types of coal vary from 5200 GAR coal to 6174 GAR coal with total moisture between 12% to 18%. The coal is basically a low sulphur coal except 5200 GAR coal, which sulphur is around 1.5%.
The company is currently developing the mine to a 3 million tonne per year open-pit operation.
According to Delta Dunia’s website, BUMA is the second largest coal mining contractor in Indonesia, providing mining services under long-term operating agreements with some of Indonesia's largest coal producers, such as PT Berau Coal, PT Adaro Indonesia, PT Kideco Jaya Agung and certain subsidiaries of PT Bayan Resources.
BUMA is involved in the mining infrastructure development and construction, land clearing, removal of topsoil, drilling and blasting, overburden removal, coal mining, hauling, reclamation and rehabilitation of mine sites.
