INDONESIAN COAL SWAPS LOST WEEK ON WEEK AND MONTH OVER MONTH
COALspot.com: Indonesian coal swaps for average November 2014 flat day on day and lost US$ 0.85 (-1.66%) per mt week on week. The swap also lost US$ 4.15 (-7.59%) month on month according to AsiaClear OTC coal swap's reports released on 26 September, last Friday.
FOB Indonesia coal swap
Sub-bit FOB Indonesia coal swap for (average) January 2015 delivery gained day on day and lost week on week and month on month. The swaps lost $ 1.00 (-1.93%) and US$ 4.65 (-8.37%) per mt week on week and month on month respectively as per closing price on 26 September 2014.
November 2015 delivery swap lost US$ 1.00 (-1.81%) week on week and US$ 4.75 (-8.07%) month on month. The swap gained US$ 0.25 (+0.46%) day on day.
Asia Clear OTC Sub-Bit Indonesia coal January 2015 delivery swap closed US$ 0.40 (+0.79%) higher compared to average November 2014 delivery price of US$ 50.50 on 26 September 2014. In the meantime, the coal swap for November 2015 delivery, closed average US$ 3.60 (+7.13) higher than swap for November 2014 delivery for the same reported period.
On 26 September, coal swap for delivery January 2015 closed US$ 0.05 higher from the previous day closing and lost US$ 1.00 from 19 September 2014 closing of US$ 51.90 per MT. November 2014 as well as January & November 2015 delivery swaps show a negative trend week on week as well as month on month.
The sub-bit Indonesia's coal swap for November 2014 delivery has achieved a highest price of US$ 51.05 / MT on 22 September 2014 and has entered its lowest level (US$ 50.50 / MT) on 25 & 26 September 2014.
Richards Bay Thermal Coal swap
SGX API 4 FOB Richards Bay Thermal Coal swap for delivery November 2014 lost US$ 1.05 week over week and closed at US$ 67.50 on 26 September 2014. January 2015 as well as November 2015 delivery swaps also failed to perform positive and lost US$ 1.55 (-2.20%) and US$ 3.80 (-5.07%) respectively week on week.
FOB Richards Bay Thermal Coal swap for November 2014, Jan and Nov 2015 deliveries lost US$ 4.95 (-6.83%), US$ 5.00 (-6.76%) and US$ 7.50 (-9.54%) month over month on 26 September.
SGX API 4 FOB Richards Bay Thermal Coal January 2015 delivery swap closed US$ 1.50 (+2.22%) higher compared to average November 2014 delivery price of US$ 67.50 on 26 September 2014. In the meantime, the coal swap for November 2015 delivery, closed average US$ 3.65 (+5.41) higher than swap for November 2014 delivery for the same reported period.
Newcastle Thermal Coal swap
SGX API 5 FOB Newcastle Thermal Coal swaps November 2014 delivery gained US$ 0.05 per MT week on week on 26 September 2014, closed at US$ 54.95 per Mt. November 2015 delivery swaps closed at US$ 58.00, a $ 3.05 higher than November 2014 closing price. November 2014, January as well as November 2015 delivery swaps performed negative month on month.
FOB Newcastle Thermal Coal swaps for November 2014, Jan and Nov 2015 deliveries lost US$ 3.30 (-5.67%), US$ 3.35 (-5.69%) and US$ 2.90 (-4.76%) month over month on 26 September.
