SUB-BIT INDONESIA COAL SWAP (FOB) FOR AVERAGE Q115 CLOSED AT $60.28, $ 1.70 HIGHER THAN 2Q14
COALspot.com – Indonesia, the world’s largest exporter of the thermal coal's swaps for delivery April - June 2014 slightly corrected downward the week ended 28 February 2014, according to SGX. A commodity swap is a financial agreement whereby a floating price is exchanged for a fixed rate over a specified contract period.
The contract for Indonesian sub-bituminous coal in the second quarter fell $ 0.02 to $ 58.58 a metric ton week on week or US$ 2.12 per mt month on month according to SGX. The Q4 contract also fell US$ 1.07 and closed at $ 59.53 a ton compared to 28 January 2014 closing of US$ 60.60.
Sub-Bit Indonesia coal swap (FOB) for average Q2’ 14 delivery lost 0.03 % pmt week on a week on Friday 28 February 2014. The Indonesian coal swaps for average Q4’ 2014 lost on month and gained on day and week on week according to AsiaClear OTC coal swap's reports released last Friday.
Sub-Bit FOB Indonesia coal swap for (average) Q1’ 15 deliveries were closed at US$ 60.28 per MT on 28 February 2014, or US$ 0.03 higher compared to 21 Feb 2014 closing.
Q2' 2014 delivery for the sub-bituminous Indonesia's coal swap was closed at US$ 58.58 per MT on 28 February 2014, US$ 2.12 lower than last month (28 January 2014) price and US$ 0.02 lower than a week ago price of US$ 58.60.
The Q4 delivery price fell on month but gained on day and on week. Coal swap for Q2 2014 lost on week and month and gained on day, an average calendar Q1 2015, swaps gained around US$ 0.03 per MT on a week and $ 0.16 on a day.
Asia Clear OTC Sub-Bit Indonesia coal swap for average Q4 delivery closed US cents 95 (1.62%) higher compared to average Q2 delivery price of US$ 58.58 on 28 February 2014. In the meantime, the coal swap for Q1 2015 delivery, closed average US$ 1.70 (2.90%) higher than Q2 14 deliveries for the same period.
Coal swap for delivery Q2 gained US cents 33 (0.57%) on day and lost US$ 0.02 (0.03 %) on week and US$ 2.12 (3.49 %) on a month. Q4' 2014 delivery price has also lost 1.77 % month on month and gained 0.42 % on a day on 28 February 2014.
The sub-bit Indonesia's coal swap for Q2’ 2014 delivery has achieved highest price of US$ 58.58 / MT on 28 Feb 2014 and has entered its lowest level (US$ 58.00 / MT) on 26 February 2014).
Sub-Bituminous Indonesia coal swaps for Q4 of 2014 and Q1 2015 are showing higher closing than Q2 closing. Q4 swaps closed US$ 0.95 higher and Q1 2015 swaps closed US$ 1.70 higher than Q2 14 swaps closing.
