SGX ASIACLEAR OTC COAL SWAPS : RELATIVELY STABLE
 COALspot.com - Sub-Bit Indonesia coal swaps (FOB ) for average June 2013 delivery has gained 0.15 percent and API 8 CFR South China Coal shipment flat D-O-D as of Friday, 10 May 2013, according to the data released by AsiaClear OTC coal swaps on Friday.
SGX has launched API 8 CFR South China Coal Swap on 29 April 2013.
A commodity swap is a financial agreement whereby a floating, or spot; price is exchanged for a fixed rate over a specified contract period.
DSP of SGX AsiaClear OTC Coal Swaps - Sub-Bit FOB Indonesia Coal
Sub-Bit Indonesia coal swaps (FOB ) for average June 2013 delivery has gained 1.40 percent W-W and 0.15 percent on D-D on Friday, 10 May 2013, AsiaClear OTC coal swap's report said. Sub-Bit FOB Indonesia coal swaps for average June 2013 delivery was opened on 3 May 2013 at US$ 62.45 pmt and closed at US$ 63.33 per MT on 10 May 2013.

June 2014 deliveries for the sub-bit Indonesia coal swap was opened at US$ 65.50 pmt on 3 May 2013 and closed at US$ 65.65 per MT on 10 May 2013. Average June 2014 delivery price has gained US$ 0.03 PMT D-O-D and US$ 0.15 PMT W-O-W.
The sub-bit Indonesia's coal swaps for Cal 2014 delivery gained W-O-W but flat D-o-D.
AsiaClear OTC Sub-Bit Indonesia coal swap for average calendar 2014 delivery closed US$ 2.63 (4.15 %) higher compared to average June 2013 delivery price of US$ 63.33 on 10 May2013. In the meantime, the June 2014 coal swap has closed US$ 2.32 (3.66 %) higher than June 2013 swap for the same period.
The sub-bit Indonesia's coal swaps for June 2013 delivery lost US$ 0.97 (1.50 %) M-O-M on 10 May2013. In the meantime, June 2014 delivery also lost US$ 1.20 (1.79 %) M-O-M.
Sub-Bit Indonesia coal swaps June 2013 delivery gained day on day and Week on Week but lost month on month. In the meantime, June 2014 delivery also followed same tend of June 2013. Cal 2014 delivery flat day on day gained week on week but lost month on month.
The sub-bit Indonesia's coal swap has achieved highest price on 9 and 10th of May. In the meantime, swap has reached its lowest level on 7 May 2013.
DSP of SGX AsiaClear OTC Coal Swaps - API 8 CFR South China Coal
SGX has launched API 8 CFR South China Coal Swap on 29 April 2013 to replace the previous swap.
API 8 CFR South China Coal shipment for average June 2013 delivery price flat D-O-D and gained 0.36 per cent W-O-W as of Friday, 10 May 2013.

The average June 2014 delivery price gained slightly Day on Day and week on Week. The contract for the June 2014 price gained US$ 0.02 and 0.10 per MT respectively day on day and week on week. June 2014 delivery price closed at US$ 85.90 a ton on 10 May 2013. Calendar 2014 API 8 CFR South China Coal shipment prices gained US$ 0.41 PMT W-O-W.
API 8 CFR South China Coal swap for average calendar 2014 delivery closed US$ 3.74 (4.52 %) higher compared to average June 2013 delivery price of US$ 82.65 on 10 May 2013. In the meantime, the June 2014 coal swap has closed US$ 3.25 PMT (3.93%) higher than June 2013 swap for the same period.
API 8 CFR South China Coal swap has achieved a highest price on 10 May. In the meantime, swap has experienced a lowest levels on 7 May 2013.
