JORC CODE, 2012 EDITION NOW FINALIZED
 COALspot.com - The JORC Committee has announced that, the completion of the review of the JORC Code of 2012 Edition.
The JORC Code, 2012 Edition is now published and available along with an explanatory letter which summarises how the Code will be implemented and the important transitional arrangements from the 2004 to 2012 editions of the JORC Code.
The new Code and the explanatory letter are both available on the JORC website: www.jorc.org, JORC Committee said in its note.
According to an e-mail from AusIMM, a formal ‘launch’ of the revised Code will occur in January 2013. At that time the JORC Committee will also issue a media release and release of additional supporting information to assist people in using the revised JORC Code and understanding the important differences between the 2004 and 2012 editions of the Code.
The JORC Committee would like to thank everyone who has assisted in the revision of the JORC Code. It has been a long process which has enjoyed strong support and input from a diverse range of people. The Committee is very appreciative of the support we have received and we look forward to working with you all in the implementation of the revised Code, said JORC Secretariat of AusIMM in its note which received by COALspot.com.
