SUB-BIT INDONESIA COAL SWAPS ARE WAY UP
 COALspot.com - Sub-Bit Indonesia coal swaps (FOB ) for September 2012 delivery gain 1.36 percent on Friday (3 August 2012) closing W-o-W but gained 0.17 percent on on D-o-D, according to the data released by AsiaClear OTC coal swaps.
Sub-Bit FOB Indonesia coal swaps for September delivery opened on Monday (30 July 2012) at US$ 61.49 pmt and closed on Friday (3 August 2012) at $ 62.33 gained around $ 0.84 pmt. The Q4 deliveries and Cal 13 deliveries also gained $0.93 and $1.07 respectively. The Indonesian coal swaps performed well last week.

Cal 2013 deliveries for Sub-Bit Indonesia coal was traded average at $ 69.09 pmt on 3 August 2012, which is $ 6.76 higher than September delivery price.
CFR South China coal shipments to China for September delivery gained 0.12 percent DoD and 0.17 percent WoW on Friday.
Sub-Bit FOB Indonesia coal contracts for September 2012 delivery closed at US$ 62.33 on Friday ( 3 August 2012) compared to US$ 61.49 Monday opening, gained US$ 0.84 per MT. In the meantime, CFR South China coal September delivery gained only US$ 0.14 pmt WoW on Friday (3 August) closed at US$ 81.82 against US$ 81.68 Monday Opening.
CFR South China coal, Q4 delivery lost 0.46 percent WoW but gained 0.12 percent DoD. Sub-Bit FOB Indonesia coal contracts gained 1.47 percent or US$ 0.93 pmt WoW, but gained only 0.15 percent DoD and closed at US$ 64.14.

CFR South China delivery (Q4 2012) has closed US$ at $ 83.18 compared to US$ 83.57 opening on Monday (30 July 2012).
A commodity swap is a financial agreement whereby a floating, or spot, price is exchanged for a fixed rate over a specified contract period.
Sub-Bit FOB Indonesia coal contracts and CFR South China coal for Cal 2013 deliveries closed at $ 69.09 pmt $ 88.58 pmt respectively on Friday. Cal 2013 delivery prices for Sub-Bit FOB Indonesia coal and CFR South China coal are $ 6.67 and $ 6.76 higher compared to September deliveries.
